Day tour through the most beautiful gorge in Ticino
Enormous rock faces, deeply carved pools and impressive narrow passages: the gorge in Val Lodrino transports you into a strange world of white-veined, light-grey gneiss and crystal-clear water. Fit and experienced canyoning fans experience a concentrated load of experiences and action in an absolutely grandiose gorge whose beauty can hardly be surpassed.
The Lodrino is a very demanding canyon with partly exposed abseils up to 50 metres high, racy, long slides in deep, winding rock gullies and high jumps in all variations. In between, however, there are also quiet moments to enjoy and longer swims in deep rock crevices. The changes from the darkness of the crevices to the bright light of the open pools and caverns will remain unforgettable: a world of stone, light and water in which you completely forget the “world outside”.
Difficulty: very demanding: some jumps up to 12m, a slide of 11m, several abseils up to 45m

Tour itinerary:
We will meet you at our base, where our guides will give you a warm welcome. Here you will receive detailed information about the rest of the tour as well as your equipment. A short drive to the canyon, then a shuttle and the “climb to the entrance”.
After the safety talk, detailed instructions and a few ‘dry runs’, you are ready to go. Your canyoning tour will take you through one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe, which is also considered one of the most difficult routes in Ticino. Canyoning experience is an absolute must here. But if you have the necessary qualifications, you can experience an absolute canyoning treat here.
When we get hungry, we look for a good resting place, enjoy our sandwich lunch and gather our strength for the second part of the gorge. At the end of the tour, a Happy Landing Apero awaits you – you will talk about this day for a long time.
