Enjoy a wonderful day out on the beautiful Reuss river
Beautiful river trip through the lush green of the middle of Switzerland. The river meanders through forests and meadows – giving us plenty of time to unwind, paddle, swim, race against the other boats, try your hand at steering – whatever takes your fancy. About half way we stop for a relaxed lunch on the side of the river. Bring your own picnic or BBQ ingredients or request the catering from us – we are happy to provide you different options.
Availability:
On request, subject to availability daily from May to mid-October.
Included:
- Raft
- Equipment (paddle, life jacket, in colder conditions wet suit)
- Instructions and guiding by professional river guides
- Transport of your dry clothes to the end of the paddle section
- Happy Landing Apéro after the tour
- Safety certification & company liability insurance
Not included:
- Transport back to Gisikon (we recommend public transport)
- Meals (can be booked on request – from an easy sandwich lunch to a substantial BBQ)

To bring:
- Bathing clothes as well as towel
- Shorts, T-Shirt and sandals / water shoes to wear on the boat (likely to get wet) or dry (and warm) clothes for after the trip
- Backpack or bag for transporting your dry clothes in our bus
- Small snack and drink (no glass bottles / containers)
- Sun protection: cap/hat, sun glasses, sun lotion
- Lunch (if not booked through us)
- If required: sports band for your glasses
- Depending on the weather we advise you to bring additional synthetic sports wear for better protection (no cotton).
- Good attitude!
Programme:
We meet in Gisikon on the car park of the Hotel W. Tell. Here, you will receive your equipment as well as comprehenisve safety instructions. Then we get onto the water! Your guides will show you how to paddle and off we go… Enough time to paddle, float, swim… and all that in beautiful landscape of the heart of Switzerland.
About half we we stop for a hearty lunch on the side of the river.
