An impressive feat by nature!
321 steps lead down into the gorge. Technically easy canyoning (without abseiling) awaits us here. We conquer the gorge by swimming and sliding. The walls next to us reach up to 300m high – there is no other way then the river here. A love for water – that is all you need to participate in this water fun.

Please note:
The hike and swim through the Viamala Gorge are a unique experience of nature. The tour is not technically demanding and is therefore also suitable for people with no canyoning experience.
Please note, however, that once we enter the gorge, there is no way out until the end. Depending on the water release from the dam upstream, we will be moving through cold water with, at times, strong currents.
To ensure you can enjoy this adventure safely, you and all registered group members should be in good health, have a normal level of basic physical fitness, and feel comfortable in the water – in other words, not be afraid of water.
Tour procedure:
We meet you at the restaurant “Alte Post”. After a welcome by our guides we we get changed into the waiting canyoning gear – your personal belongings stay in the car. Then we make our way to the entry of the gorge and you will start your descent down the stairs. Just above the water, you will be given an extensive safety talk as well as detailed instructions about the various can-yoning techniques – now you are ready to go! After two hours of fun in the canyon a short walk will lead you back to the restaurant where your dry clothes as well as a Happy Landing Apéro await you.
