The Rhine Gorge below Flims, also called Ruinaulta, offers great but easy white water in a stunning natural environment. On this river we offer funyak or duckie trips: Funyaks are inflatable kayaks which you steer with a double-blade paddle. The boats are unsinkable and quite stable and therefore great fun for adventurous friends of water activities. Our guides will accompany you in their own kayaks and offer help and advice along the way.
On this half-day trip we paddle on the upper half of the river. It is the more challenging section with lots of great rapids – so you should bring your spirit of adventure!

Trip procedure:
We will meet you at our base in Ilanz. Here, you will be welcomed by our guides and receive all necessary equipment. After getting changed we will take a short walk to the put-in, where we get the boats ready. After comprehensive safety and paddle instructions you are ready to go. First, we will practice the handling of the boats – then you are ready to hit the rapids of the upper Vorderrhein.
We will end the trip either in Valendas or in Versam (depending on water levels and ability of the group), where we will board the train back to Ilanz. Here, our dry clothes and a Happy Landing Apéro await us.
