For everybody looking to have a go at kayaking or wanting to improve their skills

Would you like to learn how to kayak? Or improve your skills? Or have a guide and instructor for your first trip down the Vorderrhein? We now offer private kayak instruction on the Vorderrhein; possibly also on other rivers by request. Beginners will receive all necessary equipment from us (including kayak and clothing), advanced paddlers can bring their own equipment or arrange material through us.

Availability:

On request, daily from Easter to mid-October. Half or full days.

Prices:

1/2 day (approx 2.5 hrs of lesson): CHF 249 for 1-2 persons, addititional persons CHF 49 pp

1/1 day (approx 5 hrs of lesson plus lunch break): CHF 399 for 1-2 persons, addititional persons CHF 79 pp

Maximum 5 persons per instructor.

Levels:

Level 1: Beginner – still water, e.g. the lake in Laax

Level 2: White water 1-2 – open also for sporty beginners

Level 3: White water 2, e.g. lower Vorderrhein

Level 4: White water 2-3, e.g. upper Vorderrhein

Included:

  • Level 1: all equipment; from level 2 equipment can be arranged
  • Instruktion
  • Safety certification & company liability insurance

Exklusive:

  • Transport (can be organised through us – please contact us)
  • Food (can be booked through us)

To bring:

  • Bathing clothes and towel
  • Snacks and drinks; full day otion lunch also
  • Own equipment (white water clothing, kayak, paddle etc.) if you have any
  • Backpack or bag for storing your dry belongings
  • If needed: sportband for your glasses, sun protection
  • Depending on the weather we advice you to bring additional synthetic sports underwear for better protection (no cotton).
  • Good attitude!

Trip procedure:

We will meet at the agreed location. You will meet your instructor and discuss the goals for the day. Then it’s time to get ready and get on the water!
